    xoom fe accessories

    just wondering. can we use the standard dock and speaker hd for original xoom for our beloved motorola xoom family editions?

    Afraid not. The connectors are upside down on the XoomFE. The Xoom2/XyBoard docks are also useless for the XoomFE.

    With the standard micro USB interface on the bottom of the XFE would you not be able to "dock" it to any standard micro USB dock? Similar to a dock for a phone that uses micro USB? It would be nice to have one that fits properly and holds the tablet securely. Anyone know if there are any docks available that work with the XFE?

    Like Dicko said, the micro-usb connector is upside down on the XFE, so unless you take the dock apart, and phsyically flip the male connector upside down, then they won't work. I'd be willing to bet that almost every single dock on ebay or anywhere else, has the connector right side up, so it may be almost impossible to do without modification.
