I definitely have an Asian version. It even says "ASIA" in the firmware ID. It's an H.6.6-23 Build number. Yes, I bought it off of Amazon.

I have been able to get my laptop to recognize the Xoom, so that's not an issue.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

This appears to be the issue. I got it to recognize and the Xoom started to reboot, but it said "Starting Reboot Protocol.. something or other", and sat there for a bit before I had to manually reboot and go to work this morning. How long should I expect this process to take?

I didn't appear to have any options at the time... I just saw the dual-core logo and that text in the upper right corner... but again I was pressed for time so I disconnected and manually rebooted... will try again from work today. I was only curious how long it's supposed to hang on that screen so I don't go thinking it's locked up?

after the command: adb reboot bootloader
Xoom will reboot im I rite?

next command will be fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot flash system system.img
    …etc

That what I meant to fastboot. It fastboot or it push the images via your command from your windows cmd to your Xoom

Oh yeah... it rebooted, and everything was going along as you say...

But that screenshot you posted is what I was seeing and was sitting there a good 20 minutes before I cancelled everything and had to leave for work was all. I was just curious how long it took before that screen left and the other stuff started going. It sounds like once I see that screen we have both seen, I just sit and wait.

Are we talking 30 minutes, 2 hours? I'd hate to have my Tab sitting there for 5 hours completely locked up and not even know it.

Once you see the screen Astrix posted you start your commands.

    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot flash system system.img
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
    fastboot erase cache
    fastboot oem lock

Note: If no userdata.img file is present in your download, please issue the command:
    fastboot erase userdata

Bear with me, I'm new, but HOW do I start these commands at that point? It appears that it's a loading screen and there's nothing I can do until it's done loading.

But from what I'm gathering now, there's a step that's not covered that I need to do to register these commands. My keyboard is not up and available at this point, nothing is. There's obviously something I need to do that I am missing to access the ability to run these commands.

I'm confused, because when I fire up my Xoom normally, that's the screen that, where I can touch anywhere on the screen, in any way, shape or form, and nothing happens, only difference here is there's some text in the upper left corner. I can't do anything normally until I see my wallpaper.

I hope I'm being clear, my question is, "What do I hit at this screen to give me the opportunity to run the commands you speak of?" Because normally, the "Dual-Core" splash screen is a non-interactive screen for me when I do my normal boot up every day.
