I did wipe. The thought did cross my mind that some one could just boot the device up and go on a shopping spree on the market. This also gives me a clean slate (get it? LMAO!! Sorry. Could not resist. Its been a couple hours with out my xoom already) and an excuse to ROM the sucker when I get it back. Hey, I would have needed to wipe it anyway, right?

I've had my xoom encrypted for months and was about to package it up, but if they need to access it how will they if it's encrypted?

Oh I've got a ton of illegal stuff on my xoom. But what can they do? Call the police? That means they invaded my privacy without a warrant. And if they go shopping, I'm sure a motogoogle lawyer would love to hear from me and compensate me.

I do agree its non of their buisness. But these guys have thousands of Xoom in front of them on a quota to get the job done. Not snoop.

Turns out I forgot to print up the email with the RMA info on it and stick it in the box with the device
I guess one of two things will happen:
They will do the legwork (the RMA is on the shipping sticker) and find the info
    OR
They will send it back with a note that says" !??!?!?!!!? = "What do you want us to do with this thing?"

Can't believe I missed this step

I bet you are not the only one who forgot to include the paperwork and I'm sure they have everything cross-referenced with name, MEID, MDN and tracking number assigned for those who are so excited they forgot to pack the email.
