Bound to happen. Also bound to be some false claims. Hope Motorola is taking unboxing pics too.

Moto is insuring the fedex packages, any damage from fedex/upgrade is covered

Well I took pics of my Xoom as it was being packaged from all angles with the RMA and shipping materials in the background.

When I get mine back, I will have my wife hold our camcorder as I unpack it, and have the digital camera on standby in the event I have to file an insurance claim for damage

I did the same in anticipation of this. My Xoom is mint and fully expect it to return that way. I used my Sony camera because my phone can't timestamp photos.

Mint here too. I also took a boatload of macro photos from all angles from a good camera for the embedded date/time stamp. Sure hope I won't need them.

Mine are time stamped, but with the RMA shipping package in the background, and the other pics that arent posted you can also see the Full RMA/MEID...so it is kind of obvious it was taken prior to shipping to Moto.

Tracking numbers show when the Moto packing kit was sent, and when it was mailed/recieved by the Service Center....sorta akin to those who take pics with newspapers in background to show date. Recived on the 3rd, mailed back via Fedex on the 3rd all within a 3 hour window.

I am away from home so either I wait it out until I get back or have my wife mail it to me. I really don't want any disappointments messing this up since the whole upgrade experience has been great for me.
