    Anyone else get the email from Motorola Mobility about delay?

    I just got an email from Moto...saying "...still in process of completing your upgrade...will ship it early next week"....WTF...I sent it out last Monday and they got it on Tuesday the 4th at 10:00am?....How are other people getting their's back already?

    I got one too, if mine takes too long I'll temp discon as well, but not before I call Moto and scream at 'em.

    I sent mine in last Monday and I know they got it Tuesday, but the email I got from them said they got it Wednesday the 5th. By that evening, the website showed the upgrade complete and that my unit was either shipped or about to be shipped. I guess a lot of people are in the same boat since reading this site, it appears most people have not gotten an update on shipping since the 5th too. It is interesting that several of you got an email today saying that your device was delayed. That would seem to indicate they are working on Sunday. I haven't gotten that email so I am wondering what the deal really is.

    It would be interesting to know how many devices they actually got last week and what the backlog is. Since people had to register in order to get a shipping box, it would have seemed they could have reasonably predicted the volume of units they would receive last week and could have staffed appropriately. I am particularly surprised that they are having such difficultly updating the status site. Why would some people receive a "delayed" email and others not?

    Basically it is a mystery to me. I hope I get my Xoom back soon. I miss the thing!!!

    Same with me, I sent mine in late Monday, I think it was the last Fedex Truck, and my email said they got it on the 5th also. Mine doesn't say it's complete though.

    Well, I have had the now famous: "This device has shipped or is in the process of being shipped back to you. If no tracking information is available, please check back at a later time to allow our system time to update" status since last Thursday. Interestingly enough, I called the customer service number they supplied on Thursday afternoon and once I entered my RMA number the automated reply was my Xoom was shipped even though there was no shipping date, tracking number or shipping carrier noted on the status site.(and still isn't). The question is did my Xoom get shipped so I might expect it on Monday or not? I think probably not. I am hoping I get it Tuesday, but it is about as clear as mud.
