Windows 7 on Xoom

hi, i am trying to downlod from bigpond movies and the bigpond site is telling me i need windows 7, would appreciate any help.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. You'd need to download to your PC and transfer via usb to your Xoom.

I actually would like to have windows 8 on a tablet. Not windows 7 since windows 7 wasn't built for tablets or any type of touch experience.

why would you like windows on tablet? android is linux based! u have more flexibility in linux and definitelly less viruses and sh***

If you haven't checked out Onlive, do so. You get a Windows 7 virtual dasktop which inclues Word, Excel, PowerPoint and IE. It's free!

I use the 2X client (free) to RDP to my server farm where I have multiple PVD's in different flavours from my Xoom.

When I RDP to my win7 PVD, with a keyboard and mouse on the Xoom, it works perfectly, including audio passthrough. Google drive keeps my docs in sync as well... the best of both worlds. :-)

I use this app to to connect to a server for an "online" version of our reporting/inventory/personnel software. Works great.
