    Strange problem using adb

Ok, here's what happened. I pulled the framework-res.apk out of the Eos-wingray-50.zip file.

I switched in a new cursor pointer for the mouse.

I set the file system for r/w access

    I then did adb push framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk

I got an error saying it failed due to "not enough memory". (and yes, there was enough... 28 GB in fact)

Then error messages started popping up on the Xoom's screen... one in spanish, one in arabic...

I'm like... WTF! Not only did it not work, but when I rebooted I was stuck in a bootanimation loop... had to wipe and reflash the damn ROM and gapps. *sigh*

This never failed to work before, and yes, I do know what I'm doing!

Anyone else have a similar problem?

    Running OmniROM 4.4.2
    TWRP Recovery 2.6.3.0

Hmm I've always used Ninjamorph to make framework changes. Its easier to decompile and recompile w/o errors. Was it a .9png or regular png?

    Regular png.

I've done it before on earlier Eos ICS ROMs and on Moray, it always worked... I dunno, something just didn't go right this time.

I don't actually decompile/recompile in the normal sense of the term, I just open the zip with 7zip and work down to the directory I need, extract the framework-res.apk and then just drop the new file inside the correct sub directory to replace the old one, then just adb it back to the Xoom.
