    Attach USB memory stick to my xoom

    I have seen advertised on amazon (I am in the UK) a cable for attaching a usb device to the xoom

    I thought i could use this to attach mt memory key to the xoom but people tell me though that my xoom does not host usb.

    I am a simple man, can anybody advise

    Thanks for the reply but all Ii trying to ask is,,,,,, does my Motorola Xoom 3.2 support OTG usb and if I buy a cable it it just a case of simply plug and go
    or do I need to download something onto the tablet as well

    I should add that I have just discovered my tablet can take a micro sd card without any problem

    the OTG will recognize camera, Mouse and Keyboard, on an unrooted xoom. If you root, it will recognize USB thumb drives and hard drives.

    Only if you are rooted, else USB devices won't work.

    EDIT: A bit late to reply eh? EDIT 2: For some reason I could see only the first few posts...

    Please read this thread before proceeding to root.

    Thanks for your help and advice. I have decided that rooting is not really for me. I have now discovered that I can insert a sd card so that will probably meets my needs for extar storage
