Xoom won't turn on

Can somebody help me?
I bought my xoom like 5 months ago,and today I turned it on ,and I could'n touch the screen to unlock it.I tried to clean it,and then,it just went back to a black screen.I tried pressing the button in the back,but nothing happened,i tried connecting it to the charger,although the battery was full.Then,i thought it would just reset,but it didn't.I tried pressing the button in the back repeatedly,nut nothing happened.It's been like that for like 10 hours now,and i really need some help.

Welcome to the forum.Glad you decided to join us. Try a soft reboot, press and hold the power button and the volume up button together until the Xoom starts to reboot, then release them both.

thats actually really good that it took 5 months of use before you got your first lockup. I don't get them very often so its not a problem but surely more often than 5 months!

I've had mine since March and I've yet to have that happen. (knocking on wood as I type)
