    help! faulty accelerator yaw tilt?

    hi all,

need comments on a possible issue with my moto xoom accelerarot (yaw, tilt and compass)

all my games think i am tilting the xoom to the right, for example, when i lay the tablet flat it thinks it is actually at a angle of -20degrees

oh, and the compass is 90degrees wrong

any help before i take it back????

Welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us. Try a soft reboot, press and hold the power button and the volume up button together until the Xoom starts to reboot, then release them both. If that doesn't help you might also try a factory data reset and if that doesn't help I call Motorola for a repair.

Are you on 3.2 or 4.0.3? Should be in menu>settings>privacy. Oncer you sign back into Google you will be able to redownload all your apps again. You won't lose anything on your sdcard.

This is going to sound crazy, but try downloading GPS Status and Toolbox - it has a bubble level and when you press Tools there is a calibration option. It might be helpful...
