    i think part of the delay with verizon especially when it comes to the xoom is that there is no more 'new' money in it for them so they are in no rush. They make the most money on a product that they still sell since it includes the sale of the product itself. Now that they don't sell the xoom anymore I am not sure they care too much about us old customers. I have a Logitech Revue which has the same issue. it is discontinued so trying to get them to fix it is pretty much impossible.

    i would root and flash but worry that i would screw it all up. which flash is the best?

    Are you 3G or 4G? Different roms for different devices.
