No Sound

I am new to this forum. I have a Xoom I think it is just wifi. I do not get any sound out of it, and I have the volume all the way set to max all 3 of them but I still dont get sound out of this

This XOOM is becoming a paper weight very fast and I am losing interest in this product very quickly.

What do I need to do?

Try a soft reboot:
- press and hold the power button and the volume up button together until the Xoom starts to reboot, then release them both; and

Hello, tried the soft reboot, didn't seem to change settings on the mute, grabbed the slider and pulled it back towards the muted symbol, bingo, let go of it and i had the sound working !!
