Why do you want to revert? And you can do it using adb and stock system files. It will fully wipe your device though.
You'll have to fastboot the correct images from here.

Thanks for this.I am actually new to fastbooting or adb. My experience is limited to flashing a EU version of android 2.1 on my X10 to get dual touch.I have some questions. Please can you clarify
1) Fastbooting the correct image is called flashing & this doesnt mean that my tab will be rooted? (I prefer not to root & only flash)
2) Will my warranty become void if I do this?
3) Once I go back to 3.1, When ICS is relased for UK xooms how can I get the update? Can I still get the updates OTA?
4) What is meant by re-locking after flashing?
5) My Xoom is MZ601 & having the build number H.6.5-17-3. I do not see this build number under MZ601 in the MOTODEV > Products > Device Software
link. Which image should I download?
Sorry if this is lengthy. I am new at this & would like to know the process completely before proceeding.
Thanks.I want to revert to 3.1 as the battery life in 3.2 is terrible. I tried all possible options like
1) doing factory reset,
2) putting tab into airplane mode before sleeping.
3) allowing the battery to come down to empty & charging it till 100 percent without using it (as suggested by a member in this forum)
None of this has helped.BAttery usage shows Android OS to be eating up more battery.I didnt have this issue in 3.1. 3.1 was giving me a long battery life.
1. No, this won't root your tablet - just fastboot back to the original OS.
2. Once it's relocked no one can tell anythings been done - but unlocking the bootloader will void your warranty until relocked.
3. You will get the OTA's once you revert back.
4. Relockibg is simply putting the bootloader in a locked stock state.
5. I'm getting ready to head to the gym, I'll take a look at the firmware when I return.

Thanks. After going through the motodev site,i finally took the step.started nervously but the process was easy.unlocked it,flashed the image and relocked it. I used the same build number which you mentioned above.was worried initially that the build number is not matching with mine.on googling more found that build number changes for each version 3.0,3.1 & 3.2.after flashing and relocking the xoom, it showed up 3.0,and got two OTA updates which took it to 3.1 . later got an update for 3.2 which i politely declined.
Many thanks to ggrant3876 for patiently answering my queries.thanks to droid-xer as well.
