WOW thanks guys.... ive read that about four times now.... thats alot to go thru to just to get what this tablet should have already, and to work decent... think im just going to sell it and get an ipad.. it works with out all that mumbo jumbo... my question is, since im under contract with vz, can i put an ipad on the account instead of the xoom? or , do i have to keep this xoom until the contract is up?
Seems to me you are an ipad person trying to somehow make us feel bad? The xoom "just works" right out of the box too. As a matter of fact I think it just works better if you look at things like the ability to get programs from multiple developers without connecting to the itunes, flash works, etc etc. But some people dont want or need that. Some people are not into modding and changing the device to make it do what they want it to instead of what Apple tells you to do. Thats ok, makes us individuals. It takes about 20 minutes if you are real careful to flash to another rom, not a lot of mumbo jumbo. For the Verizon question you will have to go ask them!

Sorry, if i came across that way... not trying to make anyone feel bad.. not at all... was just stating my opinion... thanks so much for the reply
No problem. We have had in the past people who posted things like that who were ifruit fans just coming here to try to show us how theirs was better. If that wasn't your intention then i will apologize. But i stand by what i said that the xoom works just fine right out of the box. All the extra things that you get by rooting and flashing a custom rom just adds to its usefulness but isnt necessary to get a great experience.
