motorola tech repair
Those of you who have dealt with the tech repair dept., what was your experience like?
Were they able to fix the issue, or did you receive a refurb in return?
Is the turn around time truly 3-5 business days from the date they receive the tablet?
Any info would be helpful and appreciated!

yes from my experience motorola tech repair was much much better that support on motorola forums
and since UK was forgotten by motorola with all updates and etc I believe the repair should be also good in US
in my case they replaced board due to self-reboots and everything took exactly 7 days...courier collection+repair+receiving tablet back :
3 -5 days for repair, or upgrade on 4g? there are no more upgrades, as for repair i imagine it depends on the issue, you may get a refurb
I had a great experience with Motorola tech with the LTE upgrade.
I unknowingly purchased a non-US Xoom from a vendor in NYC. When the vendor at first did not want to admit that it was non-US, I contacted MOTO and after a nice chat with the rep and me telling her that it wouldn't update to HC3.2, I received a Fedex box the next afternoon, sent it off and within 5 business days had my Xoom back updated to the US version of 3.2. Couldn't have been any easier.
