I don't understand why you'd want a Xoom in the first place. You should buy something else, perhaps a Transformer Prime or one of samsung's. The Xoom is heavy, bulky and obsolete.

I recently bought a latest spec tablet with 50% faster CPU, next gen graphics chipset, ICS. It was awful and the Xoom I replaced it with is much, much quicker and more stable. The Xoom is far from obsolete.

Funny, I originally bought the FE Xoom (liked it), discovered there was no dev support for it (it was a quick last minute decision as the auction was ending on ebay, so I didn't have a chance to really check into it) so, I ended up buying a OG Xoom, sold the FE, and then turned around and bought another FE for my wife for Mother's day to replace her Kindle Fire. Crazy I know, but I would have never been happy with the FE. I have to be able to mod my Xoom. I've been at this to long now to run anything un modded
