Wifi and display switching off ??

Picked up a problem with my Xoom recently, despite setting the wifi to never switch off and setting the display to keep on for 10 minutes, both settings are being completely ignored, my wifi now switches off overnight without fail and despite the front settings suggesting the display is set to 15 seconds, if I explode this it's set to 10 minutes? Anyone else had this before? Tried the soft reset but still occurs?

I have had this happen on other android devices but not my XYBoard, soft reset didn't fix it? If that didn't a factory data reset probally wouldn't do anything anyways...........

Hmm you don't have any other apps that control system functions? Try installing Spare Parts and use the "wifi never sleep" option there.

Spare parts didn't work, it's also set to 'do not turn off wifi' yet it still turned off overnight, maybe ICS when it's eventually passed onto my UK Xoom will help !!

I'm sorry to hear that! Maybe if your willing you can flash a custom ics Rom if you're not willing to wait

these might be router foult not xoom so try upgrade routers firmware and set the frequency band to 5Gh
if that wont help try hard reset or mentioned before custom rom
