+1 its laghable that the uk still dont have ics, by the time we get ics (if ever) jelly bean will be out for american users and then it will be the waiting game for us again, it really is a joke.

what firmware did you use on that web page there are a lot of versions also is your xoom formatted if you flash this firmware?

It depends what model you have.

MZ600 is the OG 3g/wifi Xoom.

MZ601 is the Xoom already 4g upgraded.

MZ604 is Wifi only Xoom.

If you have a wifi only Xoom then only use the wifi images. You can push wifi images to a 3g/4g Xoom but then the radio won't work.

Pushing these images, going through the process, will wipe your Xoom. It will literally be like you just opened the box.

From some of the things I read about ICS at the time before release, was the competition. Android wanted to make a significant move to stay up with the jones. Or ahead. Android dominates the smartphone market. Some 62%. So with the IP5 launching, probably before Xmas, android has to push to keep an advantage. JB will be a decent extension of ICS. Nexus and ASus, by the looks of it will push with JB stock. I seriously doubt android could compete with apple on just a update of firmware. Come on man it's the intrigue!


Ps when have you seen things like this be right on time anyway. You'll see the famous words we've all grown to love "pushed back"

ICS: Ice Cream Sandwich Android Version 4.
If your Xoom US and Canada Wifi only...you can OTA to ICS. If No you need to flash with custom ICS.

If you want to flash..check steps by steps guide at my signature.

Tips:-
1) You're rooted? Download the custom ICS and gapps..flash it via cwm recovery
2) Fash it as how you flash you root.zip
3) Do Nandroid before you flash

What in the world... I hope this is the most far-off rumor of em all. ICS just recently came out, the Galaxy Nexus is what 6 months old? Lol, it wasn't that long ago. That, and how can they top the UX of ICS? I don't see how it could get any better so soon...
