ICs.. and memory card

Ever since i uploaded ICS.. my 32g memory card has been freaking out... If i turn off the xoom, and turn it back on.. first it takes forever to load.. i have 15 gigs on it.. most all pictures... When it does load, it loads all the pics like three times.. i have the pics in different folders.. say if i have one folder with 600 pics in it... when its done reloading there are 1800 pics in it now.. to get it right i have to take the card out, and reinstall.. and let it load again... is this ICS? or something i am doing??

I used the extreme measure as the basic clean didn't work. I rebooted may times and in the end after rebooting, for what I told myself was the last time before a Factory Reset, I found that as soon as I took a photo with the XOOM's camera the Gallery was rebuilt.
