Where to get a Xoom

I have been reading about the grey market on Amazon and I am now hesitant to buy one from the Amazon site. There are a few vendors that have great reputations but how do I know if I am getting a US product?

Motorola.com has a ne OG Xoom for $449.00 and a refurb for OG Xoom for $349.00.

I would stick with the OG Xoom and stay away from the Family Edition and the Xyboard if you are into hacking.

Thank you Grant. I can't spend anymore than $300. There are two sites on Amazon that are selling refurbished Xooms: I emailed Ocean Reef Electronics and asked if their product is a US model.

I don't mean to turn you away from the xoom, but it may be a good idea for you to read about the nexus 7 tablet coming out it a couple of weeks. I don't know what your needs are, but it is a nice inexpensive tablet.

I was going to pre order one but no rear camera, no sdcard and only cloud storage. My Kindle Fire does that already.

Thinking of selling my Tab 7.7 P6800 and get this Nexus 7. As poor development and no news of ICS.

But Official ICS release, custom rom start to appear and ported of Jelly Bean on the way. I decided to keep this beast

I don't use my rear camera on my xoom, or even my SD card. I do use a lot of could storage, and it is a lot more powerful specs wise than the fire, I bought one for my daughter and it's ok, but........

I really don't want a 7", I prefer the 10" and hopefully Motorola will come out with a quad core with an unlocked bootloader.
