    Yes, it *is* possible, barely.

I used the app "Windows Emulator" from the marketplace. I would *not* recommend it -- touchscreen/mouse input is whacky, it clearly doesn't know how to deal with the large screen. No sound. And it's *slow* -- I think it's using Bochs under the hood, rather than Qemu.

    Still, interesting.

Really ?? Windows 98 ?? Didn't know it even existed anymore. Whom ever has it needs to update to a new 'puter. Great excuse to go out and buy a new one with Windows 7 to go with that Xoom.

Now why would defile my xoom with Windows software? Android is made for the mobile world. Windows mobile 6.5=Fail
It is cool that this is possible but I would never want a Windows OS tablet. I am happy not running into the infamous BSoD.

I forgot to mention why? Two reasons. #1, it's geeky. very very geeky. #2: Chuzzles.

I'll forgo #1 in a hurry if there's a better way to get Chuzzles

Definitely cool. Not that I'll run Windows on this Xoom, but I'm eagerly waiting for the day I can run Ubuntu / OSX / Windows 7 on my tablet or tablet hybrid. I don't care about windows, but unfortunately many software developers do. If my Xoom could handle the Adobe CS5 Suite, Civilizations 5, and a couple other intensive applications... I would never touch a PC again. 3 years maybe?

Windows 7? You know what goes better with a custom Linux OS (like Honeycomb)? Linux!

Don't want to loose my time for that. It is useless.

Running win98 on anything for any reason isn't geeky. It's just pointless and futile. ;-P win98 deserves to be left in the grave where it belongs. Get ubuntu running on your xoom. *that* would be geeky and bring far more happy chuzzles.
Xoom (3G/WiFi but only use WiFi) Rooted, unlocked, Tiamat 1.4.2.
Nexus One, rooted running Cyanogenmod (latest RC or stable.)
