Installing Flash

Download Flash Player APK (version 11.1.115.12) here

Copy the files to the memory card of your Android device (whether you have a smartphone or a tablet)

Install the APK using any File Manager.

Start your browser.

On the browser settings, uncheck the Flash Player option.

Choose On demand or Always on depending on your preference.

You have the latest Flash Player on your Jelly Bean device browser! Enjoy

Humm... I have no "flash player" option (that I can find)... I've got the app file (.apk), rooted stock 4.1.1 and the flash I had installed in 4.0.4 remained after the update. I reinstalled from the apk file (they were the same version as I already had installed) but still can't play most embedded flash files. I get an error in the browser about no player installed.

Same with Dolphin, I get the download Adobe Flash icon rather than the video.

Same with Chrome.

Any ideas?

Use the stock browser. Chrome does not run Flash, and Dolphin's latest version is reported not to (I don't use it).

The download has been removed from that site. Anyone have any other suggestions? I'm trying to get flash so I can view my own website!

Adobe have a webpage containing all their archived versions of Flash player including Android APKs. Google "archived flash player versions" and it is the first result. Scroll down to the Android 4 section and click on the latest version to download it.
