Hi everyone... Just some information I would like to share with you. I had the oppurtunityto speak to the Head Director of Android UK for Google tonight. I expressed my dismay at the speed at which the ICS update for Xoom and Xoom 2 in the UK is proceeding. He has promised me that he will personally have a meeting with the head developers and kick their asses into gear into speeding up the process tomorrow. I personally will be getting Jellybean for Xoom 2 for my input. Its still on trial he explained but was he was very grateful for my feedback. Be patient its coming very very soon.

sounds so good! Ics for xoom is already awailable in the uk. But Xoom2 still has no upgrade. JB is even not on the develop timeline. I really hope to get jb on my xoom 2 cuz i have used ics on my hp touchpad for long time.

While I highly doubt that you'll exclusively get JB that easy, this is great news indeed thanks for sharing it.

(By the way, reason for doubt being that releasing a highly anticipated OS to ONE person would likely cause all number of massive problems for them/their devs/PR.)

EDIT: Of course, if you get it, I will very happily take it all back It would be very surprising though.

Any update on this subject? It's nearly the end of Q3 and still no word from Motorola. ICS shouldn't be that hard now that it's released in other territories and we have Wi-Fi only in the UK

If you really want JB just install team EOS JB you goona love it but if not you can always go back to stock.

I was sick of waiting for ICS here in europe and writing all those threats on official motorola forum and going nowhere near the update.
So i rooted installed EOS and never regreted !

Still no sign of ICS for Xoom2 in the UK.

Noticed some other regions have started getting it but UK remains an island without ICS for Xoom 2

Any news for UK? aware still 11 days left in September for Q3 rollout

Nothing here I'm afraid. Hopefully they will surprise us all and bypass ics for jb?
