Long press on the book you want to archive - a menu should appear, select "remove from device", and it should be moved to your archive...

Then, obviously YOU didn't buy them, so no, if your account doesn't match the account embedded in the files, you can't read them.

I have bought them- but not from amazon. Happy to discuss the the rights and wrongs of drm, but unhappy that you assume that sideloading onto a kindle implies some sort of wrongdoing. I don't like being locked into Amazon, if you do thats fine, but please don't make assumptions about my morals.

If you bought them, but not from Amazon, then they are illegal copies. It's that simple.

I could care less about your morals. None of my business what you do. I am just saying why they won't work. If you do things the legal way, they will work on your Xoom.

If you don't... Oh well, your problem, not mine.

    Uh... What?

People buy ebooks to read on a reader. Where they buy them / what they view them on is their choice.

Think he was just pointing out that Kindle will read Amazon downloaded reader files only and if you try to sideload other files they may not be compatible thats all

6 of one and half a dozen of the other, best not to jump in and inflame the situation imo

True. Just bugged me a little, considering where I work we sell eBooks for Kindles despite uh... not being Amazon No problems if they're in the right format

Well, the way I read the post it wasn't an accusation at all but it is important not to inflame it, this forum isn't like a lot of others and we mods will close threads if they get too heavy, just isn'[t worth hackles and tempers rising just ruins a day
