Stop update notification from popping up?

Is there anyway to stop this notification from popping up? I am rooted and do not want to update. Ty.

I know everyone else experiences the annoying popup stopping your YouTube video and making it restart, pausing your games and allowing an advantage to your enemy...please tell me a way in which I can stop this notification. Also PLEASE do not tell me to update! FOR all the methods out as of now are either confusing or are in "beta".

The only way I know is to flash a custom rom that's up to date. The EOS JB wifi rom is as stable with more features than a stock jelly bean rom.

Found my answer elsewhere, simply download a root accessing file from AppStore> System> ETC> Security> Rename the zipped file (DON'T DELETE)> otacerts.zip.bak

You also have to get rid of the file it has already downloaded.

Look in /etc/security for another directory an the download will be in it, just delete it.

I have a confirmation that the method I posted works. Also I would suggest renaming things rather than deleting them due to the probability of mistakenly deleting useful files.

The otacerts.zip file is used to verify the download location is legitimate. But if the Xoom has already downloaded the file...but not installed it. It no longer needs the otacerts.zip file, so renaming it does no good (although renaming it WILL stop future downliads).

That is why you need to also remove any sub directories in /etc/security EXCEPT the cacerts directory.
