    Updating nightlies

Tried to use goomanager to update eos3 from build 135 but no success. Using cwm as normal what is the process for updating them?

Do you do any wipes and do you need to flash gapps again?

    Cheers all.

All you need to do is flash the rom, you only need to flash the gapps and format the system if there is a new gapps package. There is a built in script in the rom that wipes the cache partition and the dalvik cache. But it's always advisable to have a current nandroid.

I know that the guys at XDA said we don't have to flash the gapps each time but what I have done is make sure that gapps is available on your sd card in case you need it. for some reason one program seems to get messed up, google now. it loses the ability to wake up by the user saying 'google' and doing a quick gapp flash fixes it. so every now and then i flash gapps after flashing the ROM and it fixes it. not a big deal but just so ya know!

I keep the latest gapps on my sdcard too but luckily I haven't had to use them - a good idea.

Does this mean that if you have one gapps program that messes up (i.e google now mentioned) that you can simply reflash the gapps again regardless of whether you are flashing a new nightlie at the same time.

I wouldn't just flash the gapps, I'd reflash the rom and gapps if google now isn't working. On the wifi nightlies I've never had a problem with google now.
