    Replacement Battery/Parts

Supplies are limited. refurbished Batteries are reconditions that have had the cells replaced with new one, certified/used batteries are batteries that still hold some kind of charge.

This is only for the original Xoom (MZ600 series*) not for Xoom FE, Xoom ME, Xoom2, Xyboard models.(see link for xoom 2 batteries- xoom2 battery replacement: http://www.batterybay.net/Battery-fo...FYlQOgodt3gAUQ).

    *i.e., mz602, mz604, mz600, mz601, mz605, mz606
    (2x 3.7v 3250mah in series ) 7.4V Lithium Ion Polymer battery. 24.1 watt hour (wh). 3250 mAh
NOTICE! Read before buying! the Xoom battery pack is subject to aging and charge cycles. If you buy a used battery say off eBay, do nor expect to get more than a couple hours out of it.

The Xoom battery pack actually contains TWO 3250mah batteries

    Disassembly/tear down instructions:
    Motorola Xoom Teardown - iFixit

Cost $170 (certified, but no guarantee to hold a charge. 10 day return period)
    Impact Computers:
    Motorola Main Battery - UAM047HDUEHU.1A

    Cost $50
    Portatronics

    Cost $60
    Newpower99

Cost $25-$50 (Used: do not expect to get a battery that holds more than a couple hour charge)
    Ebay

the cells on lithium ion polymer have a charge cycle life of approx 500 cycles before it drops to 80% capacity. 700 cycles as you say have at the very least dropped capacity below 80% (if not more)

about 1000-2000 cycles is it for these Xoom batteries (roughly 3-4 year lifespan, 1200 cycles drops charging capacity below 50%)

your Xoom is probably running at a charge capacity of between 75-78%

the only way to know for sure is to actually test the battery (like win8 does)

In recent years, manufacturers have been declaring upwards of 500 charge-discharge cycles before the capacity drops to 80%

check your mah with the linked battery monitor (post #5)

Once installed itll show "6500/6500mah" a full cycle will calibrate it.

Do a full normal use discharge, and charge . i am curious to see what your actual mah capacity is on your batteries that have approx 700 cycles. I am guessing your between 4000 and 5000 mah (4875mah?)
