    Pop-ups Possible SD's

For a few months now I keep getting these little black boxes popping up on the screen towards the bottom/center. The messages range from "Possible SD found", to "Multiple SD's found (with name)", and also "failed to refresh". They have been increasing in number lately to the point where there are a few everytime I use the tablet.

Does anyone know what is causing these? Can I turn it off? Thanks!

    sd? Like in external sdcards?

what does your antivirus/antimalware/anti adware scanner say?

notifications can be turned off in settings

perhaps you should just reset to factory

I guess? I have never put an external card in though!

It says my tablet is clean.

Looked high and low but could not find this option (maybe I'm blind)

This realy is not an option for me. unless the whole thing crashes!
Any one else? I can't be the only one having this issue?

take a screenshot of your little black boxes that popup (so we can see)

scan your xoom with eset (aka nod32) update definitions and select all options for deep scanning

The pop-ups come and go to fast to get a screen shot. Half the time they are to fast to even read if there is more than one line. (sometimes 4-5) Thanks for the screen shot of the notifications. Now that I see it, I probably knew right where it ws the whole time! Doh...

if the popups are flashing that fast, then that isnt android notifications. you either have a buggy app, or something is wrong with your android o/s, or your system is corrupted/infected with malware.

it almost sounds as though its code flashing across screen. are you rooted, running a rom, or have any developer tools running in settings/developers options?

    what did eset say?

install log collector, then run it after you see the pop ups flash across screen. it will tell you whats going on
