Got mine from Thursday and i'm loving it .
I got mine on the 25th after ordering it online. I had the chance to play with a prototype model the week of CES, and loved it then, and love it even more now. I can tell you that the Xoom has made significant strides in a very short time, and I expect that trend to continue. The prototype had no real face. It was a blank screen with a working browser, a working Angry Birds, Market, and a video demo. These were a few more odds and ends, but even then, it was fast. A little buggy, but still fun, fast, showed amazing potential and a HUGE upside.
After opening the box, and turning it on, I was immediately impressed with how far it has come, and how fast it's gotten there. I accepted that there were going to be glitches, and hiccups when I became one of the 1st people to have the Xoom. All that we, as a community, and forum, can do is to keep the developers as informed as possible while they continue to work the kinks out. I'm really excited to see the full potential of this incredible piece of technology become realized.
So after messing with your Xoom for a bit you think your gonna keep it? I didn't want to wait for a wifi model and also I wanted to always have the option of a data plan just in case. Especially when 4g is available. Although I'm sure most of us will tether/hotspot instead
