This might not be the right place to ask but.....
I am testing my companies mobile video platform on the Xoom. According to specs, Android's mobile Chrome browser should support html 5 containers and h.264 baseline encoded video. On the iPad, the video plays as it should - embedded in the web page. However, on the Xoom, it loads a default HTML 5 video container, which when touched, launches the video inside the full screen default video player.
This kind of behavior is expected on the iPhone and other small-screen mobile devices, but not tablets. Is this a known limitation of Android and Android tablets? I know a lot of sites use a Flash-based fallback player but if I can do it native I'd rather go that route.
Any sites out there now that play HTML 5 video inside the browser window (not using Flash) that you know of?
