Android Market, one account, but, two devices, how will it know where to install??

OK, assuming I have one account for both my Droid phone and my Xoom, and I click "Install" on android market, how does it know where to install it, or will it push the app to both devices, or you can't have both devices on one account??

Will they make me setup a separate gmail login for the Xoom, to keep apps separate??

Any ideas??

Are you using the web based market or the one on your phone and Tablet.
The web based market lets you pick which device you want to send the app you are downloading to. If you are using the market app forund on your device then it will download to what ever device you are using the market on.

Yeah, I meant the web one. I assumed that if I do it from the device itself, it'd install it to the device I'm using. But, didn't see anything on the Web Market that tells me a device, maybe do see it until there is more than one??

Do you have your google account registered on the Xoom yet and have you accessed the market from the device it self yet? You have to complete these steps before the web based market will recognize your second device. I just tried this out. I have Two phones linked to my account.

I did use my first google account. I decided to reset and use my second google account I once had for my Evo. I'm using my main for my Droid X, and my second for my Xoom. It makes it easier for me because I enabled the backup feature on google on both my Droid X and Xoom.
