buttons on BT headphones , which app to use

hey, im trying to figure out how I can get the buttons on my BT headphones to work. When I press play/stop it opens thedefault music app. When I hit nexttrack and so on same thing. Im trying to get them to work with the audible for android application. Is that possible to somehow switch it?

I would assume that you would have to go into the app manager and clear the stock player from being the default player. Then open the one you want to be your default and see if an option comes up to make it your new default player

I tried that , didnt work. I managed to get it working by killing the default music app, kinda annoying but itll I guess

Annoying? You guys kill me if you want a canned all in one polished device buy that icrap pad....LOL jk. Yeah I know I have this same problem with both my ipad and xoom I wish it was a bit more seemless it may even be a bug with the head phones bluetooth.

Seems to control whichever app is running... like I said I kill musixc app and it works but sometimes music just starts up by itself lol
