    Yes but the chances of it actually happening are pretty slim. You really don't need an anti virus app. As long as you're not downloading apps (apk files) illegally you will be ok.

    No antivirus will protect you from your own dumb ways. Theres not enough of a database to protect anyone from a virus. Talk of warez is prohibited in the forum. Thank you.

    +1 .... I don't understand why people talk about AV for theses devices, esp at this early stage.

    It has already been proven that Google's lax app submission process can leave you vulnerable. So, even if you aren't sideloading APKs you run the risk of the darker side of society.

    It has nothing to do with google. The virus that hit recently was due to a hijacked legitimate app being hacked with a virus. Installing apps is common sense and blaming google for our indiscretion is irresponsible. If a fart app asks for access to our contacts,email, and browser and we allow it, then don't blame google.
