I have a pair of Motorola HT820 bluetooth headsets that work perfectly. Only problem is that the ear pads are pretty much falling apart and so far there are no replacements. working on that. don't want to throw them away just because of that. they have both BT and a cable so i can use them on a plane too.

I tried those S9's as well but went with the HT820 because it can work with a cable too. Gonna be hating life if I can't get replacement ear pads.

Has anyone tried the 903s with a video player? Mine pair up fine, but don't seem to work so well with video. Stops playing half the time, controls all screwed up. Only tried Mobo and Rockplayer so far.

EDIT: I finally figured out the issue with the 903 and video players. If you hit the call function on the left earbud, it seems the headphones keep sending that command over and over even though the Xoom doesn't recognize it. This cuts out the audio. It will die, click right ear bud control, it comes back, 5 seconds later, headphones send call command again, no audio, etc, etc. It takes about 10 tries with pausing/restarting the video and hitting the right ear control before somehow the headphones forget about the call function and audio continues without interruption. Weird.

Has anyone tried a set from the Jaybird line? I had my eye on these bluetooth headphones a while back but forgot about them once I got my Plantronics set.

The Freedom Bluetooth Earbuds look super nice.

Those Freedom ones look great, for the people who's ears they fit. Any buds that put weight on an in-ear fit seemed destined to fail. I realize no reliance on ear canal, but the outer ear is vastly different person to person too.

I work for a headset manufacturer (other than Jabra and Plantronics) and can truly say one-size-fits-all does not work. One of my competitors offers custom buds to fit, and I wish more people would make them. It's worth $20 to have buds that are tailor-made to fit YOUR ears. I should mention the custom fit is on business headsets for the office, not bluetooth, otherwise you can be sure I'd own one.
