Bad back cover..
First of all, I don't like this ruber kind of material they used on the back, in the upper part of the xoom, the black cover. This mmaterial in bound to scrath and fade, why din't they used the fine metal all along?
Anyway, that being not much of a problem when you use a cover, but now comes the most anoying building issue for me, something that shouldn't bother but after I'd discovered it I cant find my way to quit pickin on it ..
In the upper right side, facing screen in the standard position, the back black plastic cover kinda loose, on the left side is tight and sealed, but on the right side is kind of hollow, plastic is not that well atachet to screen, and once you start pic on this is hard to let it go!
Am I the only one fortunate to get this quite anoying enclousure issue?

Just thinking... Mabey the two piece back was a deesign choice to make installation of the LTE radio easier on the Vzw Xoom.

Sounds like you got a factory reject. I'd exchange it. All of the seems should be very tight but I get your grumble on the different material on the top-rear portion. I thought the same thing but I rarely take the Xoom anywhere without the padfolio case (I really hate that case) or the silicone cover.
