For a wifi only version? $500. If its on amazon with free shipping? $550.

Amazon's shipping is so slow it takes forever. I would rather buy it in store @ $600 than buy it on Amazon @ $550.

Yeah but my state has 6% sales tax, so it would be the same price as Amazon that way. A couple of days doesn't matter to me. If it did I would be buying something I could get now.

I won't pay more than $500 for the Xoom, and $20/month data plan.

If it's priced higher, then I'll keep my eyes on HTC, DELL or Tashiba Honeycomb tablets coming out.

Of course, depends on the network, my first choice is Verizon, 2nd would be Sprint. I won't ever consider ATT. I don't know how TMobile coverage is in my area??

If they priced it at $999 before taxes I would have to opt out. As long as I can walk out having spent less than $1000 in total, I'm in.

$799 + $20 + $35 + taxes/fees...that's the price at which I will not be buying the Xoom! And those of you who think this tablet, or any version thereof, will EVER be sub-$500...that's a pipedream! You'll be getting it used off eBay to pay less than $500, I guarantee.

Don't forget a case! I had the Galaxy Tab for a few weeks, had I kept it, I would have wanted a case.

So I think I will go ahead and get one up front for the Xoom @ $39 if they have them. I can always bring the case back if I find something better.

I think I'll be passing on the Xoom entirely now with that $1199 pre-order price on the BestBuy website that I just saw. Holy smokes are they nuts?

Is anyone willing to spend $1200 as posted on Bestbuy.com?
