    non-stop blue tooth tethering...

So my Xoom is a 3G model and I'm using the 1gb plan. But I have found myself for the last two weeks exclusively using wifi while at home or coffee shops, and everywhere else using blue tooth tethering w/ my OG Droid. I have it always on w/ my droid which is running Liquid Gingerbread v1.7 pretty flawlessly and I am so used to it that I forget that I even have the option of turning 3G on for my Xoom. I apparently only turn it on when I have an incoming call.

Anyone else doing the same that has 3G Xoom?

Ya I don't have a data plan yet for my 3g. I use my x to tether everywhere I need it if WiFi isn't available. I'm waiting for 4g to start my data plan.

I use about half of my 3gig plan. Mostly out of convenience than anything else even though I am in range of wifi at the office and while out out lunch (mostly). It is nice to have it while on the road and after I get my JVC headunit installed in my truck next month I'll have a good Bluetooth connection and no more wires.

I knew that I was mostly going to be using my Xoom in places with wifi acess, its why I didnt go out and buy the 3G Xoom.

I did get lucky that I did NOT know about the wireless BT tether until I got here! Using my DX with my wifi Xoom if I need to is definitly bonus!

I found the bt tether feature just by messing around, I'm glad I have a dx. I hope the ability continues with future moto phones.
