My Xoom froze during shut down, now fixed
I was closing down my Xoom last night and the screen froze half way through. I had all the icons on the screen and the little rotating circle (the little egg timer type thing) stopped rotating. The screen sat like this for around 10 mins.
I dusted down the lap top, not used it since I got the Xoom last week, and logged into the forum. After a bit of research I held down the Vol + and the power button together which closed the Xoom dow. I fired it back up and all is well. Does anyone know what might have happened? Is this something which I should expect from time to time?
Great forum thanks.

This seemed like a minor issue for those on 3.01. The 3.1 update seems to have fixed it.
I'm on 3.1. I got the Xoom around 10 days ago (in the UK) after first boot up it updated to 3.1. It does sound minor though so hopefully it'll be OK now.I was in US on business last week and got lots of use out of it - really happy with my purchase.
It could be that it is just like any other computer...sometimes things crash! I would not worry about it unless it starts happening on a regular basis.
Thanks for your help.
