I don't feel the same way. I think they've been pretty darn good to us leaving the device unlockable. And now they have even stated for a second time they are planning on leaving new devices unlocked/unlockable as early as the 3rd quarter of this year. Even the possibility that currently locked devices may get an update that allows them to be unlocked.
Since this is the first Honeycomb device, it will have bugs. If you can't be patient with the fact that there will be bugs in ANY new device, maybe you aren't cut out for getting devices until a year or so in? Maybe get a Samsung 7" Tab running Froyo until the bugs get worked out?

As far as the Xoom 2, I was told back in April that the possibility of a Xoom 2 is out there. My father-in-law supposedly has a friend that was beta testing a device and he was telling my wife to hold off for that one (she was gonna get it for a birthday gift) later this year? I figured it was a long while off so I got my current Xoom. So the rumors are out there, and this only adds to the list. Could be hog-wash, but there could also be some truth to it. It's happened with numerous Android phones in the past.

There is also a third possibility of it simply being a remodeled Xoom 1 with different processors....so they can get 4G working?

I can respect that you dont feel the same way. Everyone has their own opinion. But i was not speaking on unlockable and bugs. I've had multiple android devices, and i never complain about bugs, because chances are, someone else already has and the manufacturers are already aware of it. Never once i have i complained about a bug within the the android OS. I was referring to the SD card support that was supposed to be available 90 days after launch. I was simply giving my opinion on a xoom 2. Since this thread is not about the sd card, i will not stear it in that direction.

According to an article over at Android Central, it's called the "XOOM 4G".

I only wish that MOTO would Leak Out the prommised SD card slot on xoom #1. Who knows maby when xoom 3 comes out they will decide to finish xoom #1. MOTO also promised a 4G upgrade on xoom #1. Now I see xoom #2 is called XOOM 4G!. I guess we will now have to buy xoom #4 to get our 4G, or was it #3? I am so confused!!!!!. All I know is I got xoom #1. I hope MOTO clears this up some time!. I seem to recall I was promised something anyway!. These guys should run for Congress!

Well, yes, the SD card (and 4G for that matter) *are* valid complaints. And if that is the basis for your complaints, then I would have to agree with you in that Moto hasn't stepped up to the plate and at least communicated with their customers on the subject. I'm sure a greater part of the owners would be a little more content if they just came out and said they are having problems following through on the items because of technical issues with ____ and they are still trying to get it working to ______'s standards. Because obviously, if the Devs can get it working, it shouldn't be impossible for them to also.
So yes, I can feel your pain in that area.

Hrm, wonder if our 4G upgrade will involve more than just a radio. New devices for all the VZW people and a bunch of refurbs on the market?

Not to be confused with our Xoom 3.OU812G* * - potential 2014 release of 4G.

Or maybe our Xooms will get 4G by the time 5G comes out?
