    xoom wifi rooting (3.1) question!

    I have been researching for hours trying to find the answer(or perhaps a answer) to this. I have a wifi only (build hmj37), does the guide by Steady Hawkin, rooting 3.0.1, work if I have 3.1? My research has made the impression that hmj37 is the build that is with 3.1. But I don't have money growing out my butt so I need to be 100℅ certain that the guide I am following is for my device/version/build. Thanks you all. This forum has been very useful and I am sure some one will answer a new droid users question. 4est.
