Interesting. Although I have no desire to do such a thing I do find it cool you jammed it in there. My only grips? The dang glare (not your fault) The shake. Buy a $10 tripod for the camera![]()
Very interesting although I have no need to run Ubuntu on my xoom. It is cool that you got it running though. I just run whatever ISO I want in emulation via Quem off my flash drive on any computer.
@DD he is using his cellphone camera to make the video. I don't think a tripod would help in that case.

I did not know that they made special mounts. Cool

Sorry for the shaking, guys. Although this is a very geeky thing to do, and does not seem like it has many every day uses... but it would be a way to open files that you couldn't on Android... I am trying to find a way to be able to send files from Android to Ubuntu and vice versa. Once I find a way, I am going to make an application to be able to transfer files between the two.
Does anyone think it would be possible to have an Android application which would do all of the work for you? All the user would have to do is move the ubuntu folder to the root of the sdcard, and then have the application execute a series of shell scripts.
Hey Apeman, nice work! It might not have the uses right now but you never know down the road. Be sure to keep us updated though!
Wow. Very nice indeed Apeman. Definitely keep us posted on any other updates.
Not sure how much help I could be in the dev process, but I will be finding myself neck deep in Linux goo pretty quickly so such an application would be very handy to have
