Can you sell a used Xoom?

I have had this Tablet since it came out but I'm just not happy with it and would be happier buying a phone and paying a phone plan instead of a $20 a month plan for the continued monthly 3g fee. Cancelling costs $400 or so? Idk I remember reading somewhere it costs far too much for me to be able to afford canceling it. Is it even legal to sell a Xoom? How would one do that? How would you transfer the contract so the other person would be paying for it and not you?

It's the 32gb tablet.

You could sell the Xoom. However I doubt your contractual obligation to you carrier can be transferred.

It might be possible to transfer the contract but I have never heard of doing it with a tablet or phone, only with a car lease.

You can sell your remaining contract on a phone to another individual so I would imagine you might be able to do it with a data contract too. http://www.cellswapper.com/Default.aspx or http://www.celltradeusa.com/ or http://www.resellular.com/ Those sites are mainly for cellphones, but you may find something there (I didn't look).

Not in the least! I made some money doing this by selling off 2 of my Unlimited Data accounts when AT&T dropped the axe and went to tiered data.

There's a thought... Got a couple of unlimited VZW plans myself...

i bought my zoom used......there was 20 Months left on the contract on vzw and i simply assumed that contract.......the nice thing is when i did vzw told me that they reset the contract to a one year obligation......vzw has an assumption department that can help you transfer the account....no fees and no problems.......
