    Think my Xoom is broke!

    Was working perfectly fine this morning, was down to about 30% battery so put it on charge, went to use it about an hour later and it won't turn the screen on, I hadn't turned the Xoom off, no matter how long I hold the power button for it doesn't do anything, I can't even take the battery out.

    Any advice?

    Shall I just leave it off charge and wait for the battery to completely run down, although I wouldn't know when that would be, just leave it a day or two and then try to turn it on again?

    Are you sure the charger is working? Is there a charging light? There have been reports of duff chargers.

    my gf's xoom doesnt respond to the power button at times.

    have you tried a hard reset? hold the power button and up volume button at the same time for it to reset.
    (this only resets the xoom if its hung up, without changing any settings)

    You might also try to press the power button twice. I know mine is that way, I press it once for a moment & release it, then press it again until it powers on.

    Thank you, didn't know about that.

    It seems to have done the trick, it's working again now \o/
