    Thanks guys

Have bought a cheap motorola one off ebay to try it.

If it works can upgrade to better quality later

If not only $5 lost on a new HS820 Bluetooth Car Headset which I can use on my mobile anyway.

Single ear bluetooth are usually for phone calls only. I have a Jawbone and my wife has a Plantronics and they both for phone calls only. When I'm on the train going to work or taking a walk, I use the Motorola S10-HD head set (Amazon.com: Motorola S10-HD Bluetooth Stereo Headphones[Retail Packaging]: Cell Phones & Accessories). It works great and can be used for phone and media. If you're watching a video or listening to music, a ringtone will notify you of an incoming call.

That looks like a good one--a little pricey though. Does anyone know if you can use a microphone, either wired through the earphone jack on the top or through a bluetooth? I have been trying several apps, Groove ip and TapeATalk for recording voice notes, and the only microphone input I get is through the condenser mic at the bottom of the Xoom (held in landscape). No other mic inputs appear to work.
