Ok. I found a cheat. First download photile from the market (free). After installed choose a image, then go to the theme manager and choose slow day.. or night I forget. The one that says slow. Now turn off fade, then turn off touch. Finally, set screen shift to 0. Set wallpaper and bam.

Edit: in order to be able to flip the screen you must also set the tiles to the smallest size

you should try mulitpicture wallpaper. that is the standard app to use now.

Anyone else experience slight lag while photile is doing its thing? Mostly noticed it when swiping the desktop.
