    Nandroids

A nandroid is a backup image of your entire system and data. It is a snapshot of your setup at the time you make the backup. A nandroid can always be restored after an SBF or as long as you can access CWM.

Backups are stored on the external SD Card in the ClockworkMod folder under backups

    Manual Method
    1. Open ROM Manager
    2. Select "Reboot Into Recovery"
    3. Select "backup and restore"
    4. Select "backup"
    5. Select "Go Back"
    6. Select "Reboot"

    Automated Method
    1. Open ROM Manager
    2. Select "Backup Current ROM"
    3. Rename you backup something easy to recall (DO NOT USE SPACES OR ODD CHARACTERS IN BACKUP NAME)
    4. Select "OK"
    5. XOOM will boot into CWM
    6. Select "backup and restore"
    7. Select "backup"
    8. Select "go back"
    9. Select "reboot"
    Restoring a Nandroid

    1. Open ROM Manager
    2. Select "Reboot Into Recovery"
    3. Select "backup and restore"
    4. Select "restore"
    5. Select backup image you want to restore
    6. Select "yes"
    7. Select "Go Back"
    8. Select "Reboot"

MD5 Checksum errors are cause by an error in the backup file name. DO NOT use spaces in the file name or odd characters. Use dash (-) rather than slash (/) for dates.
