[HOW TO] Mount External Hard Drive

For both 3G and WiFi only XOOM

Requirements

1. Unlocked, rooted, and runnnig one of the latest kernels
2. Powered external hard drive
3. OTG cable (I have this one-> HERE)

Easiest way

Download & install this APK by hellcat82 -> Download

1. Connect external hard drive via OTG cable
2. Open Mount app
3. Select Mount
4. Choose device

After you are finished with the hard drive:

1. Open Mount app
2. Select Unmount

Manual Way

I will update this if the APK doesn't work. I have been unable to mount/unmount through gscript and terminal emulator. Not sure what the issue is, but the APK should work for all.

Ya I had wanted to add the manual method but I had permissions denied even though I changed permissions through root explorer and ADB, files were recognized but could not be linked...so if anyone has a simple manual method post it up and I'll add to the OP

D'oh! Let me edit the OP. Yes you must be rooted and on a kernel with USB hosting (which is all the current kernels)
