Is there a way on the Xoom to turn off automatically prompting for updates. I have a situation where I need to leave it running and not run a chance of the prompt to install coming up.

Welcome to the forum.Glad you decided to join us. If you're not rooted I don't think there is anything you can do except just not accept it.

Where are you located? ICS has been rolled out to US wifi xooms.
