US MZ600 Verizon Xoom, not upgraded, selfupgrade, help please

    Hello.

i'm outside US and have a 3g mz600 verizon us xoom, and not upgraded.

here we have 2g / 3g operators, we cannot use 3g without simcard.

so now i cannot operate my simcard with xoom for 3g/2g networks (GSM and gprs usage)

now i want to know, what can i do? i cannot send my xoom for upgrade.

where can i buy a mini-pci-e gsm modem that xoom will recognize it and operate it?

who knows what data card is installed on 3g xooms which enables it to operate 2g / 3g networks? as i know uk 3g xooms can operate sim card for 2g / 3g networks

where can i buy xooms part? does anybody have a braked or damaged xoom to sell it's parts to me?

    please help me

i read a lot of threads in XDA , but nothing ... i have asked a few times but no answer ...

    please help me.

if i buy a mini-pci-e qualcomm or sierra gsm modem, if i install it, xoom will operate it , yes? but how about if i install a card that have linux drivers, and install Ubuntu on xoom? if i install it's drivers, will it recognize it?

    thanks

Can you send your xoom to a friend in the US and have them get it upgraded?
