Xoom won't turn on :(
My Xoom is 3 days old and has been working just fine until this morning. I was in the process of rebooting my Xoom because it froze up (power + volume button). The Xoom shut down and now it won't turn back on. I have a blank/black screen.
I had some battery life left and I have it on the charger now. The red LED button would come on and then turn off after a minute or so. I opened up my daughter's Xoom (I bought her one for Xmas) and took that charger. It is charging and the red LED stays on constantly now. It has been on the charger for several hours now, and I still can't turn it on.
I spoke w/a Motorola rep and they suggested I send it in. I figured I would just take it back to Best Buy where I got it from and get my money back. The only problem is I have everything linked (Facebook/Gmail), so I cannot put it back on factory settings. If I take it back to the store and they return it to Motorola or whatever they do with them and someone gets it back on, it will sync my info.
This really sux because 1)I bought 4 of them (mine, husband, and one each for my daughters); 2)I have been highly recommending them to people; 3)I'm worried about my info on it
Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum.
Glad you decided to join us. Let it charge for a while longer and press and hold the power button and volume up button together for several seconds, some times it takes longer and one thread several months ago said he had to tap the volume up button while holding the power button.

Thank you for the welcome and thank you guys/gals for all you do! I will try your recommendations and see if I can get it back up and working. Should I not be able to, what do I do about all the info on it -- gmail/facebook?
